The Dark Knight Rises Review

On Friday afternoon we went to see The Dark Knight Rises by Christopher Nolan on IMAX Theater. It is the conclusion to the Batman's new saga. The following part of the text contains spoilers about the film, so if you haven't seen it yet, we invite you to stop reading until the third paragraph.
The movie wasn't the best one of the three, but it was such a good film. The story telling is good, and well connected to the other two parts of the saga with lots of references to Harvey Dent from the second one and also to the events of Batman Begins. The best action scenes are from far the ones from this film that cost near $250 million–a figure $65 million higher than The Dark Knight and $100 million more than Batman Begins, and that can be really noticed in the whole film, specially the intro scene. The villain, Bane, which is very different to the joker,  doesn't disappoint us at all. The ones who were disappointing were Catwoman, played by Anne Hattaway, and Thalia Al'Goul played by Marion Cotillard who simply didn't fit in the movie. But that was contrasted with Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the big surprise of the film, who appears more the Batman itself.
Concluding, I`ll say it was a good experience, especially on the IMAX with the big screen.
