Canadian War Museum

The Canadian War Museum presents Canada's military past and how it shaped the country. Its outstanding exhibitions explain Canada's rich military history from earliest times to the present, featuring the experiences of people on the battlefields and at home.

After our fantastic morning classes we took the bus number 8 to reach the War Museum. The building is huge and you can see that it was build in the same way you would build a bunker. Inside the museum there are different exhibitions related with the different wars the Canada had fought in. The exhibits include weapons, vehicles, clothes and all kind of objects and documents related with both World Wars, The Cold War and the Peace Missions that Canada is involved with as a member of the UN. There is also a temporary exhibit to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, which confronted the USA with  Canada as you well know.
