Today it has been our first official day in Ottawa, Canada. We had great expectations before coming, and the city hasn't disappointed us.
The host families have brought us to Albert Street in Downtown Ottawa, where the academy is located, at 9:00. For being our first day here, and for also having landed just yesterday (we are quite tired though). Despite that we have started our journey here with a nice tour around this amazing city. All along with the nice explanations given by John, our tour guide, we visited the main landmarks of the City: Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral... and so many other places that we enjoyed a lot.
After the tour, we have been invited to eat in an Italian restaurant, by the course managers; we were really hungry and tired, so it has been really well welcomed.
In the afternoon, the course managers have explained us everything about how will it be our experience here and then we have taken a small test, so that the teachers can know how is our level and in what we need to focus on for improving.
Finally, at 4:00, our first day together ended, and we were free to go with the host families.
