WAR MUSEUM
Yesterday was our las full day in Canada, we were sad because the next day, we had to go home again. We had a normal class, we wrote our journal, and we played some games to improve our English level.
When the class was over, we had lunch in the cafeteria. Then, we took a bus only 3 stops to go to the War Museum. It was really interesting. First we had a guide who explained us how the museum was made and some interesting things about it. Then we had free time to go through 5 different themes about the First World War and Second World War. We we had seen all of them, we returned to the school but walking.
Then, there some of us went to Rideau and the market next to it to do our last shopping trip. Then, earlier than other days we returned home to say goodbye to our host families and to end packing our luggage.

ESCAPE MANOR & FUN HAVEN
Today, when we arrived at the school we didn't have class. We were all very exited because our teachers were taking us to escape manor.
When we arrived there, our teachers told us the group where we were in (we were mixed with the children of the other nationalities) and we started.
At first we didn't know what to do, we were just looking around. But when we discovered the first thing, it was easier to go on.
The cooperative work was essential and my group was the only grup who could scape.
It was very good, original and a really good practice of English!

Yesterday morning we didn't have English classes. Instead of that, we went to a Escape Manor. My group and I had an hour to escape from the room, but we were locked in a jail at the same time, so we had to escape from the jail and from the room. Sadly, we only were able to get out of the jail and we couldn't find the clues we needed to open the door of the room. However, we were happy because we had helped each other as a good group.
After that, we went back to school and had lunch earlier, as we had to be at Fun Haven at one o'clock. They gave us a card with 5 dollars so that we could play some games. Moreover, some of them were free for us, like the laser tag. At four o' clock, my friends and I went to Nuria's house to have dinner and play in the pool.

MUD OVEN
Today we did a very special activity: Mud Oven. We really didn't know what that mean so it was a good surprise knowing that we were going to paint a mug.
At first we didn't have a lot of ideas, but then we had too much. Finally, most of us, we decided to use then as a souvenir or paint it with something typical of Canada.
Today was a fantastic day and we wish it wasn't the last Tuesday!

BIKING ALONG THE RIDEAU CANAL
We have started our day with tons of energy. We are leaving this week, so we want to do our best to continue enjoying this amazing trip and making it even more special.
Anyways, today's activity was cycling, It had been a long time since I hadn't ridden a bike, but it was fine. When I was a little stupid child I used to go cycling a lot, so it has been great to remember good times.

The biking tour has been short and soft, but we have had a really good time. Maybe, the best thing was the route around the canal, where we have had the occasion to enjoy and discover new sights of this amazing city.

A FULL WEEKEND!
This weekend I did lots of things!
On Saturday morning we were zip lining. Natàlia, Núria, Carmen, three Chinese students and I went to Gatineau Park, which looks like a forest, to do it. We had some difficult obstacles too, but we completed it successfully!!
In the afternoon we met the Catalan students because it was their last day and we wanted to say goodbye. When we were all together, one of them asked us if we could go to the Bluesfest with him because he is a super fan of Simple Plan. We didn't have tickets, but two girls that were there gave us theirs. Two of our friends were going to enter, but one of the tickets didn't work. They came to tell us and when my friend was going to use the one that worked, he couldn't enter because it can only be used once (when they tried to enter the first time they used it).
After that, we went to the Parliament and saw the light show. It was the perfect end of an awesome day!
On Sunday morning we went to the Parliament to see the changing of the guards.
Then we left the town and went camping to a trailer parked in Upper Canada Village. There we had a barbecue for lunch and after that we went to the swimming pool of the park. When we arrived home I was so tired from the weekend that I went to bed immediately.

BOWLING
It's Friday! It's unbelievable how fast the weeks are going.
In the morning we had classes, but just until 10.30, because we had a ceremony to say goodbye to some students that are leaving on Sunday. All of us were upset because we got on with everyone very well.
After the ceremony we had lunch, and then, as we couldn't go bowling on Monday, we went today. But not everyone, just the Spanish group and the Italian group.
After the activity, the majority of the students went home because in the evening, most of us were supposed to go to a cinema outdoors, like in the movies. But it was cancelled because of the rain so we couldn't go. We just stayed at home with our host families.

CANADIAN MUSEUM OF NATURE
Yesterday we had a normal class, we had lunch and then we took a bus to the Canadian Museum of Nature, they were lots of different things that we could do.
The museum was divided in 4 floors. And each floor was themed differently from each other. There was a water theme, a bird theme, a terrestrial animals theme and lots different ones. There was a lot to see, and too many things to do, but we didn't have enough time.
We left the museum and we took the bus. While we were there, we decided to go to a different mall called St. Laurent, because we knew "Rideau Centre" by heart.
So, some of us went to it. We went shopping in there, and some of us stayed there longer to have dinner, because it was the last activity of our Spanish friends, and we had dinner all together.

HOCKEY, SELF-DEFENSE CLASS & SCAVENGER HUNT
Yesterday we did a lot of things. In the morning, we had English classes and some people cooked pancakes.
After the lunch, we stayed at the gym of the school to play hockey. However, some people preferred to sit down and just talk, like me.
When the hockey match was over, we had a self-defense class, which was quite interesting. They taught us what we should do if someone attacks us in the street or if someone is bothering us.
At four o'clock, all the groups did an Scavenger Hunt, that consisted of taking pictures of different parts of the city. It was very funny and it helped us to learn more things about Ottawa.
After that we were all very tired so we just went home with our families.

TRIP TO MONTREAL
Today we have been to Montreal. We had to meet at 7:45 at the school because there's more than an hour from here to Montreal so we had to woke up early.
We started our day visiting the Notre-Dame Basilica that it was really beautiful inside. In this Basilica, instead of showing images from the Bible on the stained glass windows, they show the history of Montreal religion. In this Basilica, Celine Dion got married.
Then we went to the Wax Museum. There, we saw famous personalities made of wax. It was really good made because they had in consideration all the details. We enjoyed that a lot because it was like taking pictures with your favorite stars.
Then we went to the coach and we returned to Ottawa. It has been an exhausting and busy day but it worth it!

BOWLING? CINEMA!
Today it's been a really tough day. We just arrived yesterday from the amazing Niagara and Toronto trip, so we are still quite tired.
Despite that, we have started our day with a lot of passion, looking forward to enjoying this week.
The activity that we were supposed to do today was bowling. We all love it, but things haven't turned in the right way. We have spent 1 hour and a half to get to the Bowling Center, but when we have arrived there, it was closed. It has been quite disappointing to be honest.
Then we have all come back to the academy.
We haven't done an activity today, so we have decided to go to the cinema on our own. The film chosen was "The Minions". It was funny though, but not as good as the original ones.
After that, we have all spread out, and our day together ended, in a better way than we expected though.

VISIT TO NIAGARA FALLS & TORONTO
On Saturday morning we had to take the bus for a very long trip. We had lunch on the way and after almost six hours, we arrived at Niagara Falls.
We went into a boat that drove us so near to the waterfalls that we got wet. Then we went to have dinner and after that we went to the swimming pool.
At night we went to see the Niagara Falls with a lot of different colorful lights. We decided to cross the bridge to go to the state of New York. When we were almost there, we found a control where we were supposed to show our passport we realized that we hadn't brought them. The policeman started writing a paper, but it was just to come back and have the opportunity to enter in Canada again. We were allowed to be out until 2:30 and we had a lot of fun.
On Sunday morning we had to wake up early, and after having breakfast we took the bus to go to Toronto. When we arrived there we went to the top of the CN Tower and we could see all the city.
We went to have lunch and then we visited the Aquarium that was near the CN Tower.

SPORTS DAY
Today in the morning the classes started at 9 am, like every day.
In my class today we did a lot of fun activities and games to learn more about English idioms and to improve our speaking. I think that's the best way to learn a new language, better than spending the 3 hours doing grammar.
The classes lasted until 12.
Afterwards, the Spanish group, the Colombian group and the Italian group went to the field behind the school to do sports. We could choose which sport we wanted to do. The majority of the boys went to play soccer, some others played basketball, and the others volleyball. It was so sunny and hot that some girls, instead of doing sports, just laid on the grass and sunbathed there.
After the activity, most of the people of the group went home, because we have to prepare everything for the weekend that is waiting for us in Toronto and the Niagara Falls.

CANOEING IN OTTAWA RIVER
Today it was a normal day, we met all in the school hall and then we went to have our normal class. In my class we did lots of different activities and games to improve our English. When the class was over, we broke up in different groups, one group made outdoors activities and the Italian, Colombian and some Spanish students went to make canoeing.
Canoeing was behind the parliament, next to the locks. When we arrived, they broke us up again in three more groups, because we couldn't be all in the same canoe. One canoe was made up by Italians, other by most of the Colombian ones and the other by Spanish and the Colombians who couldn't be in the other canoe. They told us how to use the scull and we put the lifeguard.
We were near the shopping centre, and near the market, so we went to do shopping and when we finished our purchases, we went home.

ART GALLERY AND ICE-CREAM
Yesterday we had a lot of fun. In the morning, we had English classes. We played some games with our teacher and, after the break, we had a meeting to talk about the trip to Toronto. Then, we continued with our English classes.
At twelve o' clock, we went to the canteen to have lunch. The activity of the day was going to the Art Gallery, which is at Carleton University. We had to do some exercises related to the pieces of art that were there, and then we made our own masterpieces.
